I'm a student living near Milan, and am looking for some climbing partners to go to Lecco etc on weekends and weekdays.

I've been climbing for just over 6 months, leading at about 6a/6a+ indoors and outdoors. I have shoes, harness, 10 quickdraws and some slings and karibiners with me.

Anyone fancy showing an Englishman the delights of Italian sport climbing?

That sounds grand - do we need a car/do you have a car, or are there some crags that are easy to get to by public transport? Obviously we can split petrol costs. And where is good to go around here? I've heard there's good stuff at Lecco.

Or we can go midweek if it's easier - I am a student with plenty of free time...On another note, I'm probably going to go bouldering in Milan on Tuesday, and maybe Thursday as well, at this place (http://www.passaggiobbligato.it/). I have a car and the gear.
This w/end I'm not in milano but next week I can most of tha days.
If the weather is good maybe we could even try this thursday if you can.

The gym passaggioobbligato is opposite where i live....too hard to get there for tomorrow.
I gave you my cell n. so let me know for thursday, and yes even I dont know the places we could go in some place close to lecco or bergamo.
